Job Duties:
Summary
Under general direction, provides technical support, training and direction to the client management on using databases and database applications. The DBA installs, tests and resolves problems with Database hardware and software. Acts as first point of contact for all database related functions and issues.
Major Duties:
1. Provides database support services on both database software and hardware.
2. Configures and tests databases are functioning properly.
3. Works with customers to insure databases meet the needs of the end user.
4. Identifying and solving problems that affect database performance.
5. Install and manage anti-virus applications on database servers.
6. Troubleshooting routine problems and maintenance of Servers and Network equipment.
7. Troubleshooting issues with database applications and working with vendor support teams.

• Certified Database Administrator.
