Job Duties:
Summary
Within an Agile/Scrum development environment, design, develop, test, and maintains software. Performs functional analysis, testing and maintenance of application software for existing company products, software development and test support tools. This may include, but is not limited to, multitasking, diagnostic and desktop computer software using C, C++, C#, .Net, Data Bases and Visual Basic.

Major Duties:
1. Perform software development as a Scrum Team Member.
2. Develops new software applications and maintains existing applications.
3. Tests, analyzes and maintains software that requires fundamental desktop and server application software development knowledge.
4. Maintains and installs software development, prototype and test systems. Applies fundamental knowledge of computing systems, mathematics, data base, network, technical and scientific concepts.
5. Debugs system and application-specific problems with software that interoperates with radio equipment, networks and associated equipment and systems. Prepares detailed program specifications, software test procedures and operating procedures for systems and components developed for deliverable equipment.
6. Documents the software structure, logic and source code of all released software in a manner that allows another Software Engineer to understand, add to and maintain it.

Job Skills:
Essential:
• Ability to work as a team member within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Well versed in all monitoring and diagnostic tools necessary for software development.
• Ability to develop Windows software using C/C++/C#.
• Ability to develop database applications.
• Provide solutions that are sensitive to the history and functionality of the client's networks.
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Desirable:
• Familiarity with SNMP, DHCP, UDP, TCP
• Familiarity with Windows development using Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with network security practices.
• Knowledge of multiple languages and technologies a plus
• Certifications are encouraged but not required
